The proposed content open protocol comprises two integral components: a user consumption protocol and a content creation protocol. This novel framework is designed to be compatible with existing Web 2.0 networks, featuring open copyright content, democratic creative processes, and a reasonably efficient economic distribution mechanism

What is the existing target protocol you are hoping to improve or enhance?

The following protocols will be improved:

  1. Faracast content social protocol. Our protocol allows the economic relationship between creators and their supporting communities to be based on the appreciation of works and creative support, perfecting the model of NFT airdrop speculation.
  2. Creative Commons License, We treats NFTs as a media format within the meaning of this Agreement. Creators use existing works to generate AI works and actively pay copyright fees for original material works. Beyond the paradox between open access and copyright revenue

What is the core idea or insight about potential improvement you want to pursue?

The core idea or insight about potential improvement I want to pursue is the integration of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) and blockchain technology to enhance openness, accessibility, and fair compensation in the content industry. This integration aims to create a symbiotic mechanism where content can be freely accessed and shared, fostering innovation and creativity while ensuring that original creators and contributors are adequately compensated for their work. This approach addresses the dual objectives of promoting open access to content and securing economic benefits for content creators, thereby transforming the content industry into a more inclusive, innovative, and equitable ecosystem.

What is your discovery methodology for investigating the current state of the target protocol?

Empirical Research.The empirical research component of this study involves two main steps:

  1. Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA)
    Collect 40 successful case studies from different platforms and content types, showcasing the effective integration of AIGC and blockchain technology in areas such as content creation, copyright management, and revenue distribution.
    Ensure the selected cases cover a wide range of application scenarios (e.g., digital art, music production, text generation) and platform sizes/natures (commercial, non-commercial, large, small).
    Analyze how factors like technology application, market strategy, and community engagement are configured in each successful case, and how they work together to lead to success.
    Use fsQCA software or methods to conduct qualitative comparative analysis, identifying common paths and key condition combinations for successfully implementing AIGC and blockchain technology.

  2. Digital Ethnography
    Conduct continuous observation on the Warpcast platform, focusing on how creators and users interact, create, and share content using specific protocols.
    Record the dynamics of the community, including popular topics, controversial events, or successful cases, to understand the community’s culture and values.
    Select key creators and active users for in-depth interviews to gather more detailed personal insights and understand their perceptions of the integration of AIGC and blockchain technology, and how it affects their creativity and community participation.

In what form will you prototype your improvement idea? Eg: Code, reference design implementation, draft proposal shared with experts for feedback, A/B test of ideas with a test audience, prototype hardware, etc.

  1. White Paper: Write a white paper that elaborates on the proposal for integrating AIGC and blockchain technology, including technical details, implementation strategies, expected impact, and the potential changes it could bring to the content industry. The white paper should provide stakeholders with a comprehensive guide, explaining how to implement the proposed improvements and how these improvements could enhance the efficiency and transparency of content creation, distribution, and copyright management.
  2. Conceptual Model: Develop a detailed conceptual framework that outlines how AIGC and blockchain can interact within the content ecosystem. This model will map out the key components, processes, and interactions that define the proposed improvement.
  3. Simulation: Create a digital simulation to model the behavior of content ecosystems under the influence of AIGC and blockchain integration. This will help in understanding the dynamics, potential challenges, and benefits of the proposed improvement.

How will you field-test your improvement idea? Eg: run a restricted pilot at an event, simulation, workshop, etc.

A workshop will be conducted, inviting 10-20 creators and users to participate in group discussions and provide feedback on simulated models.

  1. Recruitment of 10-20 participants representing creators and users within the relevant content creation and distribution ecosystem.
  2. Facilitation of group discussions, allowing participants to engage with simulated models and prototypes related to the integration of AIGC and blockchain protocols.
  3. Encouragement of participants to provide feedback, insights, and suggestions regarding the feasibility, usability, and potential impact of the proposed technological solutions.
  4. Utilization of the workshop as an opportunity to gather direct input from key stakeholders, informing the refinement and validation of the research findings.

How will you publish and evangelize your improvement idea? Eg: Submit proposal to a standards body, publish open-source code, produce and release a software development kit etc.
We will submit papers to academic journals, publish reports, and disseminate our findings through a series of WeChat public accounts and community blogs. We will also organize multiple research result sharing sessions in both Chinese and English-speaking communities.

What is the success vision for your idea?

The success vision for our idea is to establish a new decentralized content industry protocol that effectively integrates AIGC (Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content) and blockchain technology. This protocol aims to:
