This is a short story. Based on an ever-shifting cross-species agreement, many time-less tribes have emerged in three-dimensional space-time. These tribes are no longer based on the time of the Anthropocene, have no permanent fixed members, no completely fixed location, and from the “outside”, look like a vast sea with simultaneous surges of shifting tides. If you try to figure out the composition of the tribes at a given moment, here and now, you might see algae undergoing photosynthesis, a small patch of trees, a rock, a human being. Exchange is the most practical principle of all; exchanging breath, exchanging energy, exchanging physical matter, happens all the time here.
