Super exciting to see one of the co-authors of ActivityPub on here pitching an improvement!
I also pitched a proposal, it’s not about e2ee but it is about how to make sure only people who should access to certain content gets access to it. My specific use case was RSS and adding OAuth endpoints to the RSS feed so that you can unlock exclusive content: [PIG] Enhancing RSS podcast feeds by using OAuth to access exclusive content
